Advert for Promo Video

We played around with the pictures we most liked for the advert cover. We needed both artists ion the front  we played around with the positioning and mirroring of the pictures, played a bit with the effects brightening certain parts and darkening. The screen shot shows what we are working around towards our main idea.

Adobe Illustrator

Today we started experimenting on the style of text that's going to go on the CD front and back cover and the advert. We used adobe illustrater to play around with the different fonts and styles of lettering to adapt to the genre of out music. We chose the second one in the end as it conveyed a similar graffiti old school style. We also looked at what picture will fit the advert cover , we looked through the pictures we took and experimented with a few , the one at the bottom was one of the pictures we was thinking about with both the artist.

Editing and Audio

 This week we have made great progress in our editing stage, Final Cut Pro was we quite difficult with the importing the videos and Audio syncing the soundtrack to the visuals , we wanted to incorporate the instrumental entwined with the actual song for the flow of the music video. Took some time but jasmin was really good with the final cut software and found a way. We also edited the dialogue in Audition but have decided to export it and add it directly into final cut.
